Athletics competitions kicked off today and students had a chance to showcase their prowess in several categories including men’s 100 metres, ladies steeplechase and endurance races. Those who shine in this year’s selections will get to compete with athletics giants at the KETTISSO (Kenya Technical Training Institutions Sports Organisation) sports competition games scheduled in a few weeks time. With categories such as javelin, discus, high and long jumps, students from all over the country will tough it out to determine who is the fastest, most enduring or strongest this year.
