SIT signs a collaborative agreement with GIZ and BCDP

The Senior Principal today signed a Local Subsidy Agreement (LAS) with GIZ/GFA in partnership with Bondo community development program (BCDP) for funding of the Agri-Jobs 4 Youths training activities at the GIZ/GFA Offices in Kisumu.

The training which is set to begin in January 2023 will allow youth from diverse backgrounds to gain skills in agriculture for self empowerment and employment.

The short courses introduced below will run for three months per session and would cost a fee of Ksh. 4,000.

 1. Kienyeji Chicken Production Level 3 and 4.

 2. Horticultural Production Level 3 and 4.

 3. Vine (Passion) Fruit Production Level 3 and 4.

 4. Extension Education Level 3 and 4.

 5. Agripreneurship Level 4

 6. Bee Product Processing Level 4.

Minimum requirements for joining are KCSE grade D-(Minus) for Level 4 courses and KCPE certificate for Level 3 courses.
