The role of Human Resource Office in the institution is to determine activities directed at attracting, developing and maintaining an effective workforce and coordinating these activities and efforts so that institutional goals are achieved.
The highlights of the achievements of the department include the development of our employee handbook titled The Siaya Institute Human Resource Manual available to all staff for purposes of understanding what is expected of them. We have also ensured that we meet the minimum requirement as guided by the law with regards to statutory deductions and other HR functions.
As the head of the department I would like to call upon the administration to help the department by coordinating employee discipline-related initiatives as well as offer us support in employee training and development.
I wish to urge the community to sponsor more students to pursue various courses to drive their personal development and that of the society.
